Mencap Funday fun!
Mencap Funday fun!
The Mencap Funday organising committee have asked for the following message to be made available to all members of Habs Girls Alumnae. Many of you will have worked on this event in the past and will know about the incredible value it brings to all the families that attend.

In June, we will once again be hosting our annual Mencap Funday, alongside the Boys' School to provide children and teenagers with Special Education Needs and Disabilities a day out, giving their carers and parents a chance to relax. The day is always full of fun, including fairground rides, arts and crafts, sports and even a petting zoo. It is a hugely enjoyable event for everyone involved; the committee and all the volunteers put in a huge amount of effort to make the event a success for the children who look forward to it each year.

It is very rare for such an amazing event to be so accessible for those with special needs. It takes a lot of time and resources to make the event as wonderful as it is, and the committee would be really grateful of any offers of support, whether practical or financial, to help us put on what promises to be a memorable day.

If you, or your company, would like to support or sponsor the event, please contact us at mencap@habsboys.org.uk.
